Through Deng Academy, we’re offering a number of opportunities exclusively for girls and women ages 14-20. It’s part of our commitment to gender equality in South Sudan.

Overview

Her Time is a bi-annual tournament week exclusively for girls and women ages 14-20. Through Her Time, we’re dedicated to building community, giving opportunities for competitive play, and empowering girls on and off the court.

This program includes:

  • Empowerment curriculum (workshops)
  • Advancing soft skills and life skills
  • Exploring topics and navigating gender-based issues
  • Distribution of essential hygiene items
